Hurricane Irene did not stop us!
Some of you may or may not know, our Wilmington, VT store was affected by Hurricane Irene in August 2011. However, we have recently relocated from Wilmington, VT to Stratton, VT! If you're in the area, we are now open and operating! So please stop by and come check out our new store location!

Hurricane Irene

As you all know, Hurricane Irene decided to pay a visit to the East Coast this past weekend. Our stores along the Jersey Shore as well as our employees' homes and other businesses were lucky enough to not have any major damage. However, our store in Wilmington, VT along with many other businesses and homes were hit hard. Many do not have electricity or water still. There is also major flooding and numerous roads that are closed due to damage. Unfortunately, our store in Wilmington will be closed until further notice. We wish everyone in Vermont the best and they will be in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Bonnie, our go-to beader when it comes to needle and thread, is back on LBI for the summer and will do her best to help you choose color combinations, types of thread, and new styles for the summer. Bead Happy Hour

Want to make a fashion statement at your next party? Come to Just Bead It in North Beach Haven this Thursday, April 14th from 5pm-8pm, and learn how to make a Cocktail Ring! Created with Illusion Cord and Swarovski Crystals, this ring will definitely have everyone's attention. The instruction is FREE, with a small bead fee.

Broken Jewelry Day!!

Have a growing collection of missing earrings? Broken bracelets? How about 'never-going-to-wear-it' necklaces? Gather them up and bring them to Just Bead It in North Beach Haven, LBI this Thursday April 7th from 10am-8pm where we are hosting our very first Broken Jewelry Day. While we may not be able to recreate the exact accessory you once had, we will help you make it into a new, fun accessory to brighten up your spring wardrobe - like this fun necklace made with a lost earring! Bring your jewelry, bring a friend, and join us while we REBEAD, Reuse, and Recycle our old jewelry!

Prom Closet & LBI Fest

Just Bead It is teaming up with Red Sails Salon, Regenerate, and Kapler's Pharmacy in collecting prom dresses (semi or formal dresses), shoes, purses, and handbags for Southern Regional High School for their "Prom Closet." This is a service set up within the school where girls can borrow whatever they need for their prom, and return it after that evening. So during your Spring cleaning, check your closets for anything you can donate to this great cause and help these girls have a prom they will never forget! Please drop off your donations to Red Sails (1615 LBB, Surf City) or Regenerate (5 S. Bay Ave, Beach Haven). Just Bead It will be donating jewelry for the "Prom Closet."
