Music for a Cure

On Saturday, September 25 there will be a special fundraiser at the Surf City Hotel in support of our friends Jen and Karen, who will be walking in the Philadelphia 3-Day Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. From 3pm to 7pm, there will be Happy Hour Drink Specials and music by The Following. A $10 donation is asked in support of their walk. So come out and show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research. Make sure to bring your dance shoes!

We will be having a special guest artist class on Tuesday July 13 in our North Beach Haven location. Paula from Paula's Wearable Art will be teaching a class in the Viking Wire Knitting technique from 10 am to 3 pm. The fee for the class is $80, supplies and lunch are included. LBIfest!

Bead For A Cure!

Tomorrow, April 29th, from 11am-9pm, Just Bead It in North Beach Haven is hosting a "Bead For The Cure" Event. 25% of all of our sales for that day are going to the Susan G. Komen fund for Breast Cancer Research. There will be free instruction on how to create your own beautiful jewelry, as well as premade pieces available for purchase. We will also have refreshments available, and some "Cupcakes for the Cure" available for purchase (and believe me, they are delicious!) Come in and bring your friends! This is going to be lots of fun and we hope to see you all there!

Going, Going.....GREEN!

Even though Just Bead It might be known for our preference for purple, we can't help but go gaga for GREEN while we gear up for this year's Green Up Clean Up. On April 24th from 9 am - 12 pm, local Long Beach Island businesses and residents are hitting the streets, parks, and beaches to clean up our Island.
